The Resource Centre is a small resident-led charity, established in 2000 to address and support the needs and demands of the local community. We fund our extensive youth work and community work, including our daily food bank directly through room hire, which is by the hour including evenings and weekends. The Centre is set back from the A28 roughly 10 minutes from the City of Canterbury, set in attractive surroundings with ample free parking.
We have a wide range of rooms, layouts and settings, which can be adapted to meet the needs and requirements of your group, meetings, activity or training. It is a fully accessible, welcoming building with clean, light and airy rooms and amenities. It is always appropriately staffed and there is no need for you to be a key holder. Whether it is training, meetings, 1:1 work, interview panels, counselling or office space, it is always a safe, professional and friendly environment to work in.
Rooms are ready for you on arrival, and we even clear away afterwards! The room hire rates are competitive, and include all the projection/presentation facilities and equipment you need. We also offer refreshments and a range of buffet choices. Room hire is offered from £12 to £25 per hour according to the size of the room and is fully inclusive of equipment. All prices are the same throughout the week, including evenings and at weekends.

Next door to the Stour Suite the Hambrook Room (named after the marshes) is also opposite the accessible toilets and looks out onto the fields and surrounding trees. It is half the size of the Stour Suite and suitable for smaller meetings, training and panels for around 12 people or fewer, but the facilities are the same.

A dual aspect room with pleasant views of the play areas and playing fields, this is a lovely space for counselling, small meetings (8 boardroom) and interviews. It has a white board and can be set up as either formal meeting style or with easy ‘tub’ chairs for comfort. Called the Heather Room because of its lovely, coloured blinds!
